Peaky Blinders Font Generator
What font is the Peaky Blinders logo?
The title card uses condensed capitals with small flat serifs, spaced wide — a look borrowed from early twentieth-century British signage and newspaper mastheads rather than from any modern typeface.
It is deliberately plain. The period feel comes from the proportions and the spacing, not from decoration.
The fonts here
- Kingsbridge Cd Rg is the closest — a condensed serif with the same narrow, upright proportions.
- Instant Tunes is a serif capital with more contrast, closer to a printed masthead.
- Minya Nouvelle Rg is slightly rougher, useful when you want the letterpress edge.
All three are free to download and use, including commercially.
Where the style comes from
Condensed serifs dominated British printing when column width was expensive and every character had to earn its space. Signwriters copied the printed forms onto shopfronts, which is where the association with the period comes from.
That history is why a wide, comfortable serif reads as wrong here. Narrowness is the period marker.
Setting it well
- Condense and space out — narrow letters set wide apart is the exact combination
- Capitals only, and avoid any face with strong thick-thin contrast, which reads as Victorian rather than Edwardian
- Desaturate: cold grey on near-black matches the grade better than warm sepia

Frequently asked questions about the Peaky Blinders Font
Is the Peaky Blinders Font free to download?
Yes. Kingsbridge Cd Rg, Instant Tunes, and Minya Nouvelle Rg are free to download on this page. Check each designer's terms before commercial use.
Is this the exact font used for Peaky Blinders?
Not exactly. The original lettering was custom drawn or is not publicly licensed, so the fonts here are close recreations. Kingsbridge Cd Rg is the nearest match we have found.
Can I use the Peaky Blinders Font commercially?
Treat that as two separate questions. The font file needs a licence that permits commercial use, which is set by whoever made it. Separately, the brand name, logo and characters are trademarks, so recreating a logo can infringe even with a properly licensed font. For merchandise or client work, check both.
