Band logos and album lettering are among the most reused type in graphic design, which is why so many of them have been carefully rebuilt as free fonts. This category collects the wordmarks behind albums, tours, and artist identities, with the closest downloadable match for each. Entries cover both the logos that were built from an existing typeface — more common than people assume — and the ones drawn entirely by hand for a single sleeve. Each page names what the original used where it is documented, and is explicit when a match is a fan-made approximation rather than the real thing. Because band logos are often heavily stylised at just a few letters, check your own text in the generator before downloading: some replicas are excellent for the band name and weaker for everything else.
